Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate – November 2024

In November 2024, I achieved the Azure AI Engineer Associate certification while working at VECOZO and actively building out the core infrastructure of OCEA, my AI-powered trading platform. This certification marked a turning point, it enabled me to move beyond foundational knowledge and start engineering real-world, scalable AI solutions with confidence.

The exam deepened my expertise in designing, implementing, and monitoring AI solutions using Azure tools like Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and Responsible AI. With this skillset, I was able to streamline my ML workflows for predictive analysis, improve data ingestion, and implement pipelines that handled real-time financial market data.

At this stage, OCEA’s platform matured significantly. I integrated custom-trained models to enhance price prediction accuracy and reduce false positives in fraud detection. Using AutoML and ML pipelines, I reduced manual overhead and improved time-to-market for new features. I also introduced cost-effective scaling strategies using Azure Kubernetes Service, inference clusters, and spot instances, ensuring that performance and affordability went hand in hand.

This certification solidified my ability to translate business problems into AI-powered outcomes, accelerating OCEA’s evolution from a prototype into a production-grade, scalable trading platform.
